@andy I think this is mainly down to me saying that it should a limited time offer, as we didn't really know what the future of Parasite SEO would be following the Google updates from the end of May and since.
However, in truth, Parasite SEO is still killing it.
I know that a number of people who have followed the course have said to me they have made sales, some of whom have even said that these are the first sales they have ever made online (I did get one comment along the lines of, "2 years at WA, never made a penny, followed your methods in the course and made my first sale within 4 weeks", and also many people are seeing their content ranking now, whereas they never did before.
That said, I think Rohan has ruined it now, hahahahahaha!! by proclaiming, "Partha's Training Works"... we all know that is the kiss of death, i.e. People proclaiming the "training works" hahahahhhaahha!!
But still, Rohan has gone all in, and he's made a few hundred dollars.
I'm happy for the course to be opened up again, Parasite SEO isn't going anywhere.
I'll probably have to go over the course again and make some changes.
As an example, something I spoke to Rohan about is doing Parasite SEO in the same way as I started it around 16 years ago now.
Basically, you're building "mini websites" on parasite platforms.
Therefore, rather than JUST product reviews, whereby the chance of getting banned from parasite platforms is greater, you build a "mini website".
So, as an example, I choose Medium as my first "mini website parasite platform", and my niche is "How to Stop Your Dog Barking"
I then find an affiliate offer (loads of dog barking ones on Clickbank) and I write my Product Review, I then find 15-25 INFORMATIONAL LONGTAIL keywords (dogs could be barking for different reasons, e.g. at little dogs, at big dogs, at humans, only at little children, due to poor sleep, due to poor diet, due to lack of exercise, etc.) and then link these altogether, and also linking to my main product review.
This way it looks as though your entire "mini website" is based around ONE NICHE, and therefore looks far more legitimate.
The aim is that some of your content will rank, and therfore, you will produce traffic. You can then also create your own backlinks by creating more articles on other parasite platforms (this may involve you doing research on those 15-25 keywords and seeing if there are any web 2.0s ranking on the first 3 pages, and then putting content on there and even getting additional backlinks from me... as an example, Lizzy discovered that Blogger, the Google-owned web 2.0, was ranking for a lot of her keywords, so she created a Blogger web 2.0 website with about 15 articles. Now the problem with a lot of these web 2.0 platforms is that they can take forever to get indexed, so Lizzy got some social bookmark backlinks from me ($20) and within a few days the Blogger articles started to get indexed, and with time, they will now hopefully start to rank)
Anyway, the point being, there are literally 1000s of web 2.0 properties that you can use for parasite SEO, but sometimes it's about doing the reserch yourself for a bunch of keywords in your chosen niche, and seeing if there are any SPECIFIC web 2.0s ranking for those keywords, and getting your content on those.
Furthermore, Parasite SEO isn't just about product reviews, which I've mainly discussed in the course, you can use the same principles I have discussed in this course to get articles in your niche ranking and then linking to your main website.
The other thing I would add to update the Parasite SEO course is that building an email list is a MUST nowadays.
So, it actually makes a lot of sense, to have one product review, 15-25 informational articles, and everything linking together, but also providing a link to youremail newsletter, then look up the 10 biggest problems in your niche, and write 10 emails, about 300-500 words each, loading these ionto your email software, and sending them out daily, with a link at the end of the "article" to your affiliate product)
And then repeating this process with all your different niches and products (too much hard work? Then this business ISN'T FOR YOU!!!!)
Okay, something I've just discussed with Lizzy is that SEO has now changed FOREVER.
It's definitely not the same anymore.
So, if you are following "training" that simply goes on about keyword research and then writing articles on your WEBSITE, YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED (Okay, that's a bit harsh, but if someone is trying to sell you SOLELY on that, they DO NOT UNDERSTAND SEO in 2024 and moving forward).
Firstly, you will NOT get the same levels of traffic from Google as you would've 2-3 years ago.
Let's say, if you ranked number ONE for an article 3 years ago, and that article was producing 1,000 visitors per month.
Your article in the search results would appear near the top of the Google page, perhaps even the FIRST THING a searcher sees, or possibly just below 2 sponsored (Google PPC paid for results), but your article link would still be visible IMMEDIATELY to the searcher.
In 2024, and moving forward, the searcher will now see an AI overview (if it's a generalized topic that Google can take 100 articles and then provide an "answer" based on the information found inside those articles, e.g. Best Beach Holidays 2 Hours From New York, Google will read through 1,000s of articles, and then within the Ai Overview it will summarise this information, JOB DONE!!!)
Now, before anyone says how unfair this is, remember Google's main purpose is to provide searchers with the information they are looking for, and if they can SUMMARIZE 1000s of articles in one quick answer, this is BETTER for the searcher, i.e. they don't have to click on 1000 different articles to get a load of opinon, Google now summarizes it for them.
Furthermore, Branding is now HUGE, but this means being a RECOGNIZED brand that people actually SEARCH FOR.
As an example, if someone searches for
Long Distance Running Shoes
They will EXPECT to see
Nike
Adidas
Amazon
in the searh results, because these are the RECOGNIZED brands in this niche.
Therefore, SEO is absolutely NO USE to smaller websites that don't have a RECOGNIZED BRAND (people are taking your brand ame and actually typing that into the Google Search bar)
OR
You have BACKLINKS coming from websites, some of which are well-recognized brands... (I have been asked many times about how to obtain backlinks, and the simplest answer I can provide is OUTREACH... You have to reach out to people, build a relationship, and then ASK).
Remember, all the times at Wacky Affiliate that people would say, "I got this email asking whether I would link to a certain article, and they said they would share my website on their social media".
And the answer that "Wackies" would provide is, "It's spam, just ignore it"
NO, it's NOT SPAM, it was email outreach, but the person simply didn't do it very well, they cam acros as INSINCERE (most people, simply building websites and writing artiles to rank in Google ARE INSINCERE... Sorry, YES, that includes ALL OF YOU!!!! Sorry, it's true... don't lie to me, hahahahahahahha!! are you REALLY trying to build a business or do you "just want to make some money"? Trust me, IT IS OBVIOUS to those looking in from the outside).
The easiest way to build backlinks is to be "known" by the people you're asking.
So, this may involve, putting that website's brand name into Google, and then seeing where you can SINCERELY get involved in "conversations" with that website, e.g. leaving comments on their blog, joining and getting involved in their Facebook Group, sharing their twitter threads, subscribing to their YouTube Channel and commenting on their videos.
ALL OF THIS takes TIME, and there's a fine line between coming across as sincere, and simply being desperate for backlinks, rankings, and traffic.
As an example, if someone leaves 100 one-line comments on my website, Facebook group, YouTube videos, within the space of a month it's OBVIOUS to me what they are doing.
Therefore, sometimes it's easier to research and find 10 different people doing well in your niche, joining everything they have (email newsletter, YouTube channel, Facebook Group) and slowly and SINCERELY building your presence on THEIR platforms... how much easier is it to ask for a backlink when some0one knows you and has responded to a few times?
How many of yoy REALLY spend time on your competitor's platforms?
BUT
As I say, there is a fine line between being legitimate and coming across as insincere (I would go as far to say that they vast majority of people will come across as being insincere, mainly because they have no real interest in TALKING TO PEOPLE IN THEIR NICHE? Why? Because the majority of people online DON'T want to build a business, they simply want to "make money online"
Which perfectly brings me full circle.... If you just want to "make money online" then Parasite SEO is still killing it, you just need to make yourself look more sincere and legitimate while doing it.
Example:
Pick 10 different niches.
FInd an affiliate product, write review.
Find 15-25 longtail informational keywords (use the Semrush stuff I have mentioned - yes, I know, I have only added 2 tutorials so far - https://digitalmatrixcafe.com/how-to-semrush-to-find-easy-very-easy-competitor-keywords/ and https://digitalmatrixcafe.com/keyword-research-blogging-and-backlinks-in-2024-part-2-semrush-edition/ - SORRY!!!! I think about 5 of you now know what I've been through in the last 2 months, but I'm slowly getting myself back to work now), research the SERPS FOR those keywords, any recognisable parasite or web 2.0 platforms, write everything up, link everything together, get a $20-$60 backlink package from me, move onto your next niche, repeat.
Sure, as some people have found, you can lose all your content or be banned from a parasite platform, which is why I think that this approach is better.
eg. open 10 Medium accounts, use each seperate account for ONE niche, ONE-TWO product reviews, and 15-25 informational articles, and then move onto the next account.
Sure, you can go the website route, but as everyone is now finding, you're NOT going to rank for the vast majority of stuff, simply because your website doesn't have any backlinks from authoratitive sources, or you aren't a recognized brand within your niche (both of these things take time to build... whereas initial success on a website used to be 3-6 months, you can now change that to 18-24 months).
Haven't got 18-24 months to wait?
Don't feel like SINCERELY buidling a REAL business and a REAL Brand?
DO PARASITE SEO
Will you make a fortune?
It depends on YOU.
Want to know what I think (which might make a few people hate me)?
I have met very, very, very. very FEW people over the last few years who are REALLY WILLING to put the work in... Sorry, it's true!!!
Everyone talks a great game, but very few put in the required effort (this IS what Wacky Affiliate has become... Big Talkers, No Action!!! Come On!!!! It's true!!! "1000s of community experts" <---- are you kidding me??? Hahahahahahahah!!!! The person deemed as the "most helpful person" on the platform has ABSOLUTELY NOW IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT <---- this is OBVIOUS to anyone who DOES KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!)
Did I go off on about 1,000 different tangents????
Hahahahhahahahahhahahahahaha!!!
Nce to see nothing changes!! LOL
Anyway, I'm happy for the Parasite SEO course to be reopened now, people are seeing success from it RIGHT NOW (but, then again, how many people purchased the course, did about 2-3 weeks work on it, and have done nothing since???? This is the way of the world now, we are ALL addicted to instant gratification, if we don't see immediate results, we give up, or we join an online platform, constantly proclaim "the training works", even thought we've NEVER seen success ourselves <----- Big Talk, No Action!!!)
However, a lot of the things I've discussed ABOVE I will need to put into much more detail, therefore, lots more new information to be added to the course moving forward.
Plus, I have tried a lot of different parasite platforms (that I've never mentioned before) over the last few months, but the easiest way is to do what I've mentioned above, find lots of keywords, research the first few pages of search results, discover which web 2.0 parasite properties appear to rank FOR THAT NICHE (do this with every different niche).
I'll shut up now!!! Hahahahhahahahaha!!
