Hey everyone,
There's a post published on Linkedin recently by Samy Thuillier that carries the same title as above.
Now, I'm not going to say I agree with everything that Samy has said, in fact, I'm going to include a video below from one of my faves, Chris Tzitzis, whereby he goes through each of these 30 "Truths" in slightly more detail, and then let's you know whether he agrees or disagrees.
I have to say that Chris's interpretation is far closer to mine, although there are two points that I don't completely agree with him about either (once again, this should show that "SEO" doesn't have "one perfect way" of doing everything).
Prepare yourself for a shock (or if you've ever listened to anything I've said, you won't be shocked)
Here's Samy's "article" (it's basically an image - BUT, read the comments, ALWAYS read the comments, dude reminds of me!!! You will NEVER know how "controlled" I've been around all of you 😂😂😂 )
And here's Chris's Video, which goes over these in more detail:
Not surprised at all hahaha! Do you know 'niche site lady'? She is on Twitter and I get her newsletters, totally switched to Facebook (add arbritage or what's it called) ao socials, and she is still doing quite well and bought her million dollar house. BUT, it takes investment to get the investment back and extra. (point 9, oh boy did I notice)
BUT: still not sure if this is different in other languages, at the moment at the least, no one can answer that, not even on a Dutch SEO forum that Lily Ray recommended, so I am continuing as fast as I can with my Dutch , yes travel, site. (I wish I could effort a Dutch writer right now grrrrr)
Even Jay said in his last class "there's a time we all need to pivot" and I was there, shouting at my screen again: 'hey Jay: been doing this forever (pivoting to socials ), and NOW you come with this, goddamned! How about cheating your payers on the platform".
But, I didn't type that (neither do I type things back at Kyle either anymore, waist of energy), held back hahahahaha, djeezes I'm mad that I subscribed for a whole year again , waste of money lol! (didn't notice it was for a whole year again instead of monthly)
Also another thing I noticed: although I get most traffic from Pinterest nowadays, affiliate marketing doesn't work this way, but outbound clicks to articles with adds could. (people tended to buy more through affiliate links if they came straight from Google, but that's in my case, don't know for others)
Unless I could place affiliate links straight on my FB groups, that worked, but apparently Etsy is against that, just my luck grrr
So, do you still do manual outreach?
Number 26: yeah definitely be careful hahaha! 😉

When I read the truth, I couldn't help but notice schema mark up. I have heard of it, but never really knew how to do it😅
But nothing really surprised me too much, more than what other competitors do to try and "win" or outrank.
