Hey all ... hope everyone's had a productive week! We all using ChatGPT 5.1 now?

So, I had an email from Clickbank this morning flogging a course on the importance of good headlines. The email provided some clues as to how to write the best affiliate headlines (according to Clickbank - they should know, lol).

I immediately thought of Chatty and pasted the email into the chat, asking my mate to create a 'perfect headline' generator ... essentially reverse engineer the email and fill in the blanks.

Here's what it came up with ... see how you get on!

✅ Final Headline-Generator Prompt (with Web Search + No Fabrication)

Act as a senior performance copywriter and a cautious researcher.
Your job is to produce 7 unique, non-formulaic, high-converting headlines, but only after gathering accurate information.

🔹 Workflow

Step 1 — Ask for one thing only:
“Please provide the product or service name.”

Step 2 — Perform a brief web search using that name to gather:

Target audience

Main benefit or main problem it solves

Distinguishing features or positioning

🔹 Critical Rule (No Fabrication)

If the web search returns no clear, verifiable information about any of these items, you must stop immediately and say:

“I couldn’t find enough reliable information.
Please provide the target audience, main benefit/problem solved, preferred tone, and platform manually.”

You must not infer, assume, or invent details.

Step 3 — If information is found

Present the findings back to me in a short list and ask for confirmation or edits:

“Here’s what I found based on the web search—please confirm or refine:
• Target audience: …
• Core benefit/problem solved: …
• Distinguishing features: …
Also confirm your preferred tone and platform.”

Step 4 — After confirmation

Generate 7 original headlines that follow these rules:

Everywhere I look lately, people are sharing “500 free ChatGPT prompts for creators” or “The ultimate prompt swipe file for niche sites.” And sure, some of them are cool, but honestly, what’s the point?

Like, isn’t the whole point of AI that it can write a better prompt than we can? If I can literally ask ChatGPT to “write me 10 creative prompts for SEO keyword research,” it’ll do that instantly, and tailor them to my niche and my specific requirements.

So why would I need to copy-paste someone else’s prompt that may be written for a different use case?

The way I see it, prompting is just another word for thinking clearly about what you want. AI can help you do that better than any static list ever could. You can literally have a conversation with it to refine your idea.

Anyway, that’s my mini-rant 😅

Am I way off the mark here? Have you found free prompt libraries useful?

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been doing a ton of experimenting with creating and refining GPTs.

It's been part of the reason why I feel like I haven't posted anything here lately.

My initial goal in refining my GPTs was just to fine-tune them so they could handle tasks exactly the way I wanted - no extra fluff, no guesswork, just reliable outputs.

But while I was working on this, I had a wild thought:

What if I could take a GPT, build in custom actions (in that action section no body uses), and connect it directly to my WordPress site?

Imagine being able to brainstorm, draft, edit, and then push content live, all from inside ChatGPT.

No jumping between apps...

no copy-paste into WordPress...

just one seamless workflow.

Well, here’s the fun part: I actually figured out how to make it happen.

Using ChatGPT to help me vibe code (for those not familiar, think of it basically as a way to make your GPT more functional without needing full-on coding expertise), I managed to build a plugin that syncs content directly from GPT to a test WordPress forum site I'm running.

2308

How wild is that?!

I can literally write inside the GPT, tell it to add it to my forum, and the content is scheduled for publishing on the site.

I’ve also been adding in different features to make it smarter and more customized to my specific setup:

Built-in Writing Style Guide – I’ve put together a large prompt for the GPT to know how I write. Tone, phrasing, structure - all of it. I even included examples from previous forum posts so it remembers how to “sound like me.” Now, when I ask it to draft a post, it’s already 80% aligned with my voice.

Memory Function – I added a section where it can remember recent conversations and forum posts I made. That way, if I mentioned something last week, it doesn’t forget - it can pick up right where we left off.

Persona Building - Right now, I can have the GPT build not just memories or my writing style, but who I really am (married, timezone so it knows when best to schedule things, hobbies I like, etc). That way it's able to create a more full picture of who I really am when writing and scheduling stuff for me.

And the cool thing is that all this information lives right on the site, so if anything needs to get changed, I literally just prompt the GPT to update it. No more trying to update instructions, or upload files with more info.

2309

Crazy, if you think about it.

So far, I haven’t fully connected it to an actual live Wordpress site other than the one I'm currently testing it on. The plugin I built works (for now) only with a specific forum builder I'm using here on this site.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found another plugin someone started that works directly with any Wordpress site, and allows you to build and draft any of your posts in a matter of minutes.

You can check out his here: Connect to GPT

So my plan is to build over the next few weeks to pretty much merge what I've built with his current version, and see if I can't add a ton of value-packed features, like:

Internal Linking Automation – The GPT could scan my entire site, identify where new content should link, and either suggest or automatically insert those links. Internal linking is such a pain to manage manually, so this could be huge.

Collaborative Team Setup – Writers wouldn’t even need access to WordPress anymore. They’d just use the GPT interface, create their drafts, and push them as a draft, which I review and publish. Less training and fewer mistakes.

Content Clustering and SEO Optimization - Imagine GPT analyzing all your site’s posts, grouping them into content clusters, and suggesting improvements, all from inside the same chat window.

To make this more concrete, let me walk you through a real-world use case of how this could work once it’s fully set up:

A writer logs into GPT and says, “Draft me a 1,200-word post about beginner SEO tips in the same style as our last article.”

The GPT generates a rough draft, already tailored to our writing style guide.

The writer tweaks a few sections, asks GPT to improve the intro, and then runs a quick check for SEO keywords.

Once they’re happy, they type: “Schedule this post for next Tuesday at 9am.”

The GPT pushes the final draft into WordPress, tags it, assigns it to the right category, and (optionally) sets it live in the schedule.

Bonus: GPT automatically suggests three internal links to other posts on the site and inserts them.

All of this without ever opening the WordPress dashboard.

That’s the vision I’m working toward.

Right now, I've got a decent foundation - I know how to build a plugin that can get a GPT to draft and schedule things.

The rest is just slowly building features on top of it all.

Once it’s finished, it could seriously change how we all handle content creation.

If I can get it to work, I honestly think this could be a 'game changer' not just for me but for anyone managing multiple sites or a team of writers.

What do you guys think?

Would you use something like this if it worked as described?

Here's a nice little prompt to add in to your content creation workflow :-) He claims this prompt can create content that Google will lap up over and over again.

Natural Language Processing ... otherwise known as using semantically related phrases throughout. But Matt is emphasising the specific order of words and sentence structure, which is interesting.

I haven't tried it yet but thought I'd share while I have 5 minutes to spare.

I'm sure Mr Diggity won't mind me posting below, for safekeeping :
(you can add your own 'ban list' words, obviously)

NLP-Friendly Content Prompt

Create content strictly adhering to an NLP-friendly format, emphasizing clarity and simplicity in structure and language. Ensure sentences follow a straightforward subject-verb-object order, selecting words for their precision and avoiding any ambiguity. Exclude filler content, focusing on delivering information succinctly. Do not use complex or abstract terms such as 'meticulous,' 'navigating,' 'complexities,' 'realm,' 'bespoke,' 'tailored,' 'towards,' 'underpins,' 'ever-changing,' 'ever-evolving,' 'the world of,' 'not only,' 'seeking more than just,' 'designed to enhance,' 'it’s not merely,' 'our suite,' 'it is advisable,' 'daunting,' 'in the heart of,' 'when it comes to,' 'in the realm of,' 'amongst,' 'unlock the secrets,' 'unveil the secrets,' and 'robust.' This approach aims to streamline content production for enhanced NLP algorithm comprehension, ensuring the output is direct, accessible, and easily interpretable.

Humanizing Prompt

While prioritizing NLP-friendly content creation (60%), also dedicate 40% of your focus to making the content engaging and enjoyable for readers, balancing technical NLP-optimization with reader satisfaction to produce content that not only ranks well on search engines but is also compelling and valuable to a readership.

I've been binge watching SEO Jesus lately after Partha's recommendation the other day. Surfer SEO seems to figure quite highly in his workflows and the on-page content optimising process he employs is pure gold.

Surfer identifies all the SEO entities within the competing pages in the SERP and spits out a list of all the keywords and the optimum frequency usage. Stewart then plugs that straight into GPT and out pops a highly optimised piece of content.

I can't quite run to a subscription to Surfer just yet so when Stewart mentioned GPT can perform this analysis I set about crafting a prompt. I'm interested to know what you think ...

Initially, I asked GPT to search Google for the top five listings but I think it was returning Bing listings. How do I know? Because my website was #1 ... so definitely not Google. Lol.

So you'll need to populate the numbered bullet points with the 5 pages you want to analyse.

You should be able to feed this output back into GPT and create your optimised article.

You're an SEO specialist conducting a comprehensive analysis of on-page SEO entities for the 5 pages below:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Your task is to identify all on-page SEO entities and their frequency within the content of the pages provided.

Please extract key on-page SEO entities present in the content, such as meta tags, headings, keywords, semantically related keywords, images, internal links, and other relevant information. Focus on analyzing the frequency of these entities across the 5 pages provided to gather insights on their optimization strategies.

Analyze the meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, keyword density, image alt texts, and internal links on each page to identify common trends and optimization techniques used by the competitors then provide me with a quick summary of actionable items based on the analysis.

In a table, give me a list of all the primary and secondary keywords you identified within the entities and in the second column, the average frequency of usage across the 5 pages. In the third column indicate where these keywords were found. ie: within the page content or the H1 or the alt text etc
