So, it is now exactly one week since I started taking action on Partha's Parasite SEO course, and thought I would let you all know what I have achieved, so far.
I am posting this here, rather than in the private course group, as it may be interesting to those who haven't yet decided to jump on board.
And for those who have enrolled, but not yet started, maybe encouraging you to get on with it!
As you may be aware, my initial Medium account was banned, and Partha has expanded on that within the group, as it was going smoothly until I did a review of a women's sexual health supplement.
So, essentially, I started again on June 12th.
By the end of today, I should have 38 posts on my account.
The products are all from ClickBank and cover anything and everything you could imagine.
You do need to get away from the idea of having a "niche" - it really doesn't matter, this has nothing to do with your website and it's actually quite refreshing to cover so many subjects.
Currently, two of my reviews have acquired the Featured Snippet, three others are on Page 1 of Google, and a further one is on Page 2.
There was another on Page 2, but it has now dropped, I don't know where, I don't check beyond the third page.
No sales as yet, but have had 64 clicks, so far.
I don't know what a realistic conversion rate would be, but it's very early days as yet.
I know that Partha is adding a further post to the private course group today that should hopefully address some of your questions.
For those who have enrolled on the course, but haven't actually started, I am curious to know what is holding you back?
(There are currently 23 of us if anybody is curious to know).
Is it simply finding the time, or do you feel you don't "get it," or do you not understand Medium, or has ClickBank confused you?
Maybe the amount of work that is required has put you off?
Feel free to speak up, no judgement here, and ignore Partha's grumpiness about all the questions you are asking, lol.
He is just encouraging you to take control of your learning, and dive in, what's the worst that could happen?
Send me a private message if you have any concerns you don't want to share.
I will end by saying, that for those of you who are still undecided, do remember that the price will be going up on July 1, not sure by how much, but it will still be less than $50, it's currently $27.
For that, you get access to the course forever, you are automatically added to the Private Group discussion, and more lessons will be continually added.
There are 8 core lessons, with tasks to complete to guide you along, and a further 3 lessons have now been added, that cover Be Wary Of Promoting The “Sexual” Niche, Worried About Opening Multiple Gmail and Medium Accounts? and The Quick & Free Way to Get “Most” of Your Article Written.
Good luck, let's show Google that we can bounce back from the devastation caused to our websites!
Oh cares of life got me. One friend had a stroke who was supposed to pick me up for work, which forced me to use the last of my cash to catch what we call an Uber here in the usa. I get paid tomorrow and will be in the group by then. On top of that college work is to hate and adore.
But i need the experience so i will pay my way! See you guys and ladies tomorrow!
Kind of started reading and joining clickbank, but not fully dived into posting yet.
Enjoying some holiday in Germany, while I'm uploading youtube videos and keeping my sites fresh, so it is a combination of things at the moment. When I get back home on Thursday, will explore! (still considering just not updating my English Africa site anymore, it's just too much writing for me to tell all my stories, on an English ànd a Dutch site). BUT keeping it, so I can use the medium account linked to it (promoting products like binoculars and such). In Dutch we say (literally translated): too much hay on the pitchfork hahahaha
I've already decided to do the course, just trying to get the money together to do it. I'm living in Guatemala, so don't have a way to get the money I make from my business with my husband into Paypal and have to wait until I get paid there from something online. The joys of living as an expat!
About me, I am really not holding my back. In the way I started to read, think and so some of the things.
What I mean is:
1. After a serious accident, I need energy because health problems are holding me in a big problem. I do more than I can and less than I need.
2. So I am trying to be clever. I am reading first the ideology and taking what I want to try (the ideas from Partha helped me so much, and I have used them a lot). But something is out of my character and value. Please do not misunderstand me. I am really no judge. But as a sports player and coach and all around I will not use healthy fix "meat/vitamin" etc as I know that many things that are sold in the USA are not allowed in Europe. And even worse, players can get serious bans for it. And I know players that did it by mistake (I have, like, all heard about others, too) and got banned for it.
So I need to have more proof than many others to do things like that for myself to feel well.
And I need to find payooner if possible. I love Paypal and use it a lot. For for getting paid of affiliate it is not good for me for many reason.
3. Because of my health, I can´t work with other things than online affiliates, so I can´t make a mistake. So I need to be secure to do as much as I can without getting it in the back.
My Medium account has 2 niche from my website. I was wrongly banned to after some talks with them they understood it was a big mistake and change the robot so it will not be as dubious for that account.
But I need to get 1-2 more accounts there. LinkedIn is growing but more as an interest and backlink. I tested one post of my own and sent the same post, but in a different format, on Linkedin. In 24 hours the Jay method got 1 like. With Partha method 122!
So I am doing as much (more actually) as I can but doing it with as much benefit in many places as possible.
Having a site without a niche is very tempting, but I am trying to understand how. I read and read again, so sometimes I am not sure if I understand the idea correctly. Because I like Medium as much as I don´t like Reddit (mainly because to many assholes there) and Quora. And I am starting to understand that I have done too little on Linkedin. Even so, I have even more tools there than many here.
This is a brief summary of my position!
I have 3 gmail accounts, 2 accounts on medium, 1 account with Linkedin, have signed up with 2 new affiliate programs. (I have been a member at ClickBank for years.)
I have researched and currently have 28 products on my list.
I "get" the concept but I suck at writing reviews so yes I am procrastinating. (Yes Partha, I am struggling with wanting it to be "perfect".)
I have read some of the reviews out there and a lot of them suck big time. Very obviously written by AI.
@tai "I suck at writing reviews"
Basic human psychology - the more we tell ourselves something the more we believe it.
If you tell yourself something enough times it becomes hard-wired into your brain (the "science" bit, we have things called neural pathways in our brain, these subconsciously transport the information we tell ourselves until we eventually believe that thing to be 100% TRUE)
You've been telling yourself "I suck at writing reviews" ever since we first met 😂😂
That is definitely now hard-wired into your brain, you believe it, and therefore you will ALWAYS procrastinate when it comes to writing reviews, because YOU'RE SCARED.
Why are you scared?
Because you've now said "I suck at writing reviews" 267,389 times (almost, not quite, as many questions as Andy's asked in the Parasite SEO Course 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣).
I can't change your self talk, but here's some things I think about you.
What do i think of Tai?
- Funny
- Sweet
- Kind
- Hard-working when excited by something
- Great Cook
- Great Gardener
- Extremely Loving and Caring Wife
Tell yourself that rather than "I suck at writing reviews".
STOP IT!!!!
Right..
A review is basically:
Introduction
What is the Product?
Who Created the Product?
Who is the Product For?
What Do You Get With the Product?
What are the Pros. of the Product?
What are the Cons. of the Product?
What Did I Think of the Product & Would I Recommend it?
Conclusion (with a "call-to-action")
Right, so let's NOT write some reviews.
Take Product number one, if you have paid ChatGPT just get the main url of that product's salespage (not your affiliate link, the actual home page url) and paste that into the prompt below, if you don't have the paid version of ChatGPT just copy the entire text off the product homepage.
Put the following prompt into ChatGPT
"I'm going to provide with some text about a product called [insert product name]. After I've given you the text I am going to ask you 3 questions, which I would like you to answer. Do you understand?"
Once ChatGPT confirms write this prompt:
"Here's the text about {insert text you copied earlier]. I will ask you the 3 questions afterwards. Do you understand?"
Once ChatGPT confirms use this prompt:
"Please answer these questions in detail, focusing on factual information, and aim to provide two paragrpahs for each answer
What is the [Product Name]?
Who Created the [Product Name]?
Who is the [Product Name] For?"
Copy the answers into a document that you use for writing, e.g. Google Docs, Microsoft Word, etc.
Go and do exactly the same for the other 27 products.
THAT'S ALL you have to do for the rest of this week.
We're NOT writing reviews (apparently, don't know if you've heard, but Tai SUCKS at them 😂)
I repeat
WE'RE NOT WRITING REVIEWS
You're just doing a bit of ChatGPT research and then copy and pasting some answers onto a document, 28 times in total.
WE'RE NOT WRITING REVIEWS (Tai Sucks!!!) We're just doing a bit of research, copy and pasting.
Once you've done those 3 questions x 28, come back and see me, and we'll do some more "researching, copying and pasting".
WE'RE NOT WRITING REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@expatgen we recently updated the checkout page experience, so that you (or anyone) can not only pay with PayPal, but also a debit/credit card. We should also be able to accept Venmo, Cash App, and a Bank Wire here soon too, provided enough people would want those type of payment methods as an option. No pressure to join sooner, just thought I'd update you and others on this in case you were unaware.
I'll chip in before calling it a night cause I respect that Diane is holding us accountable
I am now writing reviews. I'm still grappling with how to use an AI writer to produce acceptable content and ClickBank was a foreign land before now ... so I am a little slow. But I feel that by focusing on a single task - writing reviews - I will get loads more efficient. And faster.
I guess then, in addition to writing reviews, I am focusing on how to efficiently implement what I have learned in the Course. I figure systematizing things upfront will serve me well in the long run.
Maybe I will have 15 reviews written by Sunday.
Kristen
Did anyone notice that when you click on the 2 Medium articles mentioned in Day 5's lesson they now bear the message: "This account is under investigation or was found in violation of the Medium Rules." I don't find that scary (Partha ) ... just interesting.
But the course is/was great!!!! There is so much more in there than just Parasite SEO and it is ALL concise and actionable.
It's really as if Partha said, I am going to give you step-by-step instructions on how to do Parasite SEO ... but much more than that.
Well worth $27. I'd have paid more. NO JOKE!
