So, Medium has announced that 77 further countries are now eligible to join the Medium Partner Program and earn money by publishing stories on their platform.
There are still some notable exceptions, such as Iceland, so perhaps Johann will be disappointed by this news.
But Alex in Thailand will now be eligible!
However, you do need to be aware that Stripe is their only payment option, so if you cannot (or don't want to) use this, there is no point in applying to join.
A minimum payout has also been introduced at $10 per month, but reaching this figure is not difficult.
