I hope everyone is well.

Just wondering if any of you have taken a look at SEO Neo? It's a next-gen backlink builder with some pretty impressive features.

I saw it in one of SEO Jesus' mail outs over Christmas and was immediately taken with it. I need to double check, but I think it needs a VPS to run on and it also needs lots of proxies to run effectively.

The cost of proxies can add up quickly. To get this tool up and running properly I think you're looking at $200 per month easily. Neo is $149 a month. Then there's the proxies (a VPS is cheap as chips).

Anyone have any thoughts on this piece of software?

Maybe we could arrange some kind of group share? I really want to give it a spin but simply don't have the time available to dive into it properly. If we could spread the usage/cost over a small group here then that might work?

This post is inspired by Yusuf’s recent post.

And at a guess, the vast majority of here just want to make some money.

You probably didin’t even realise when you first joined a “certain platform” that the skills you were going to be taught were “Blogging and SEO”.

But, of course, this is just ONE way to make money online.

However, the SEO industry has changed dramatically over the years and realistically, although there are certain “evergreen” processes, the concepts change ever so slightly every couple of years.

In other words, what worked last year may not work this year.

In fact, upon leaving this “certain platform” I noted that the main process being taught NOW is in line with the keyword research methods I was teaching you THREE TO FOUR YEARS AGO!

Plus, I have even admitted that my original keyword research methods no longer work without a few slight tweaks (which I am yet to share with you).

Think about that for a moment, you are currently being taught to do something that I taught you years ago, which I have admitted no longer works!!!

Just as an aside, I’m almost 100% certain that NO-ONE who has joined a “certain platform” since 1st January 2020 is earning a full-time income.

Think about that for a minute.

That is nearly 4.5 years and NOT ONE PERSON in that time (who came into this industry “new”) is earning a full-time income from what they’re being taught.

Something’s not right, right?

A Quick “Reality Check”

I just want to say, the make money online processes I mention here I already know that some people will say, “I don’t want to do that” or “I don’t like that” or “I prefer what I’m currently doing”.

This is all fine, but I would ask you one question, and answer HONESTLY..

How are things working out for you NOW doing what you’ve currently been doing for the last 1,2, or 5 years?

When you FIRST came into this business were you hoping to be getting about 100 visitors per month and probably earning no more than $10 per month after a YEAR OR MORE?

In fact, one of the most popular posts upon my leaving a “certain platform”, a post that was being pushed daily onto the homepage, over-and-over again for about a month.

Now, I don’t mean this disrespectfully, but the post was pure clickbait, and spoke of the author earning $5,800.

Upon closer inspection, this was the ENTIRE EARNINGS THAT PERSON HAD MADE OVER SIX YEARS!!!

“Success”, “It Works”, “Just Follow the Training”

And you too could average earning a MAXIMUM of $80 per month in your first SIX YEARS!

Is this really what you envisaged?

Is this really what you were hoping for?

Right, let’s forget all the above now and get too it.

You Have to Speculate to Accumulate

Okay, I’m going to briefly cover a few things you can do, but these will cost you money to get the ball rolling (you can do the first method for free, but your keyword research needs to be so on-point that you’ll want to be better than me at it).

But, it’s not a huge amount of money in the grand scheme of things.

You may also be sceptical and think, “Partha just wants to make some money out of us”.

The truth, “Hell yeah!!” Why shouldn’t I? Hahahahahaha!!

Have I not given you enough over the years? LOL!!

But, not in an untoward way, plus you also get my time and my help in doing these things.

Okay, the first method is basically what you’re already TRYING to do, but in a much “easier” way.

(as ALWAYS, hahahahaha!!! I waffled for hours, so today, I am just covering one method, more to come during the week).

Parasite SEO

I’m guessing parasite SEO has certain negative connotations simply because of the word “Parasite” (sounds “dodgy”, doesn’t it?).

Also, we’ve recently had a Google update specifically targeting “parasite SEO”, so once more, most people have come up with a blanket statement about “parasite SEO being terrible”, even though you DON’T fully understand what it is.

Guess what, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU DOES PARASITE SEO ON A DAILY BASIS.

This in itself proves that you don’t fully understand the concept.

CURRENTLY, here’s 3 things to think about;

1. Google is mainly ranking high DA websites and user-generated content.
2. Web 2.0 properties are websites with high DA that allow users to “generate content” on their platforms.
3. Parasite SEO is placing content on high DA website that allows for user-generated content.

Now, I’ve said that you ALL do “parasite SEO” on a daily basis.

The entire internet is now full of “web 2.0” properties.

As I’ve mentioned, these are platforms that allow users to share or create their own content on those platforms.

In other words, platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, Medium, Linkedin, Reddit, Quora are ALL WEB 2.0 PROPERTIES.

Now, for those of you who enjoy the writing aspect of creating content, parasite SEO has taken over Reddit, Medium, Linkedin.

Basically, people placing written content on these websites in order to rank in Google.

Now, this certainly isn’t what I’d consider a full-time business model, but trust me, parasite SEO isn’t going anywhere.

Sure, Reddit, Linkedin, and Medium have already started removing content and banning accounts, but realistically from those who are completely and utterly spamming these platforms.

However, and something I’ve said to Jonathan recently, NONE of you think BIG ENOUGH!

When I talk about people “spamming” they are using software to create say 1,000 articles a day and the uploading them to these platforms.

This is “obvious spamming”.

But, you can still take advantage of these platforms in a much more “normal way” and be successful.

Okay, let's take Linkedin as an example, as I’ve seen plenty of conversations around this, plus Andy followed through on something I said about parasiting on Linkedin, although he only did “half a job” (but I hadn’t told him yet about the other half, LOL).

Right, the conversations I’m seeing about Linkedin are NOT what I would do.

We’re talking about “connecting” and “gaining more followers”, etc. on Linkedin.

Personally, I couldn’t care less.

Connecting with others and gaining followers makes you more “popular” INSIDE of Linkedin.

In other words, you are becoming more “sociable” with OTHER USERS of Linkedin.

I don’t want this.

I simply want to use Linkedin’s high DA to rank in Google.

That’s it.

I don’t need “linkedin friends”, I don’t want 10,000 followers who probably couldn’t care less about me either.

I’m happy with ZERO followers and ZERO connections because I’m NOT trying to become popular INSIDE of Linkedin.

(the same can be said for parasite SEO on Reddit and Medium - It’s NOT about the internal metrics, these are just “feel good factors” that MEAN NOTHING).

Pure and simple, we simply want to place content on these platforms and use their high DA to rank in Google.

A very simple affiliate marketing plan (and I bet this is more in line with what you HOPED for when you first joined a “certain platform” as a “newbie”).

I going to go with the number 100 just for example purposes, and then break down what this looks like.

So, I want to find 100 products to review.

I don’t need to own them, I don’t need to see them, I just want products that have an affiliate program and that allow me to earn commissions.

I don’t care about niche, I don’t even care about “helpful content” (and come on!!! Do you really think using AI to write articles and then “adding your own voice” is “helpful content”? NOPE, you are basically scraping OTHER PEOPLE’S information that is ALREADY ON THE INTERNET, and then adding the words “I”, “you”, “we” to it←-you KNOW in your heart or hearts, I’m RIGHT!!)

I say the above because I don’t want any “holier than now” comments.

We are ALL doing parasite SEO, we are ALL scraping other people’s content to write our own, and we are all reviewing products we know nothing about!

There you go, I SAID IT!!! Hahahahahahhahahahahahaha!!!

So, don’t get on your high horse with me!!! Hahahahahhahaha!!

Okay, so let’s say for example, I just go to Clickbank and find 100 fairly decent products.

I could do something like get the top 20 niches and then choose the top 5 best selling products from each niche.

I then simply write an AI review of each product.

I still need to do some research.

What keywords is the product ranking for in Google?

Are there many PPC ads for the products? (proves popularity and that sales are regularly being made)

Of the keywords that I’ve found for the products, is there stiff competition on page one?

As I am using Linkedin for this, is there a Linkedin review ranking in the TOP 20 listings?

Are there any other web 2.0 properties (social media, Medium, Reddit, Quora, and some others, such as Blogger, WordPress .com, Flickr, LiveJournal, Tumblr, Weebly, etc.)?

If I can satisfy the above I write the article.

This is what Andy has done so far.

However, and this is simply what people online are doing, there is one more step to almost “guarantee” rankings (as long as you’ve done the above research first).

I’ve mentioned recently about “crappy backlinks” actually working on high DA web 2.0 properties.

These crappy backlinks will kill your own website in Google’s eyes.

Basically, YOUR WEBSITE probably only ever gets a few backlinks a day at most, mainly created by YOU, e.g. share to Facebook, Pinterest pins, share to Linkedin, Medium, etc.

So, if you were to throw 5,000 backlinks at your website in one day this is extremely noticeable, Google realises you’re trying to manipulate rankings, they slap your website.

However, high DA web 2.0 properties receive literally MILLIONS of backlinks on a daily basis.

This just automatically happens.

So, throwing a load of crappy backlinks at your Linkedin (or any other web 2.0 property) articles WON’T get Linkedin slapped by Google (their too big a website).

And those links WILL help to push your articles to rank higher (how high depends on your keyword research and the number of backlinks required).

The backlinks that I use come in 3 different levels, and are priced at $15, $40, and $70 (basically, pay more money for backlinks for more competitive search terms).

So, I write my 100 Clickbank product reviews, I dont care what, they could range from weight loss, to growing cucumbers, to SEO tools, to Self Help courses, etc.

For all 100 articles (which let’s say I’ve written over the course of 2 months) I apply the $15 backlinks.

That’s cost me $1,500.

Out of the 100 articles, let’s say they have an average commission rate of $100.

Also, out of 100 articles, I only managed to get 50 of them to rank positions 1-3 in Google.

On average, because they're not hugely popular or well-known products (better, less competition), I only get about 50-100 visitors to each article every month, but this produces ONE SALE.

I have paid a total of $1,500.

I am making 50 sales at $100.

I am earning $5,000 PER MONTH from a ONE-TIME $1,500 investment (that said, you keep an eye on these articles in the SERPs, if someone “overtakes” your number one ranking next month, you pay $40 for more backlinks, and then BOOM, you’re back in position one again)

THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DOING FOR YEARS & ESPECIALLY OVER THE LAST 8 MONTHS.

Now, I’ve mentioned that this isn’t a viable full-time business model.

Something you’ll also hear, “if you put content on a web 2.0 property THEY OWN IT, if you put content on your website YOU OWN IT”

BUT

Not much point in “owning your own content” when NO-ONE EVER SEES IT (not currently ranking in Google)

Okay, obviously, this is “at scale”, but you can certainly try it with fewer articles.

I would say that you need 10 product reviews at the very least, 30 would be preferable.

But, you also have to take into consideration how much you can afford to spend on backlinks.

As an example, if you can only afford $50 per month, then perhaps you write 30 articles this month.

After 3-4 weeks you check you rankings for all 30 articles, and the best 3 that are ranking in the top 20 results (but not at number one) you pay for your backlinks to push your Linkedin articles higher.

Furthermore, you can do this all on one Linkedin account and review whatever you want.

You can have “best of” articles, “top 5”, “top 10”, and actual “reviews”, the choice is yours.

Furthermore, you could really scale this up.

Get your 100 articles from Linkeidn, rewrite them slightly, put them on Medium, and go through the same process again.

Your expenses now are $3,000 in order to earn $10,000 per month.

Want to kick it up another notch?

Get an aged Reddit account, play around on it for about 3-4 weeks just commenting on anything anywhere.

You then create your own Subreddit, rewrite the 100 articles again, and put them onto your own subreddit, and follow the same process again.

Your expenses are now $4,500 to earn $15,000/month.

Realistically, this is the “principle” and there are definitely people earning this amount from parasite SEO.

I will be honest and say that the majority of “fairly new” people who are doing this are earning around $500-$1,000 per month (due to time availability and how many backlink packagaes they can afford).

BUT

Is that better than what you’re earning now?

What could you do with that additional money?

And that’s the other thing I wanted to quickly cover, with the additional money that you’re earning you can actually improve processes on your “real business” (your currently DEAD website, hahahaha!!).

You could hire someone to do your social media, you could hire Yusuf to write articles (NO, don’t hire him, hire me!!! Hahahahahaha!!), you could hire someone as the FACE for your business and create YouTube videos, etc.

Basically, when you’ve got money to spend you can do a lot more to advance your “real business”(your website).

You by now realise that you’ve got to keep about 100 plates spinning to create a successful website, so it makes sense to pay for additional taks to be done.

Once more, I ask you, how’s what you’ve been doing for the last 1,2, 5 years been working out for you?

What to Do Next & Final Thoughts

Okay, this is the very basic business model, so how am I (Partha) gonna make money from it?

Well, clearly, I will do your backlinks (although, I don’t actually make any money from this, but it helps to keep my VAs in work and earning money, so that makes ME happy anyway).

But, if this is something that you really want to try and get up and running, you can do a “paid consultation” with me (and trust me, I’ll be nice in terms of affordablity, as I know you all).

Basically, we’ll sit down and have a chat for an hour, get an idea of the types of products you’d like to review, get some insights from me.

I’ll then go off after our chat and do some research for you and then provide you with a few products to get started, and advice on how to write your reviews, as well as reviewing your reviews for you afterwards.

How much is that worth to you?

Well, here it is, I’ve recently started doing some work for a member here, and I think initially they were a little scared to ask me, and probably thought that I’d been out of their price range.

Let’s not forget, I’ve written sales copy for $3,000 for about 6 hours work.

I’ve written articles at around $15-$20 per 100 words.

BUT

As I knew this person, as I liked this person, and as I really wanted to help this person (plus, believe it or not, even for someone like me who’s been in this business for a long time, has employees, and has to pay 1000s in monthly taxes and bills, there’s something very rewarding about having your own personal Paypal account and even getting just a few dollars in there for something you’ve done yourself. Weirdly, I feel far more accomplished from earning $50 for doing a bit of work myself than earning a few thousand from something my team had built… weird, right? LOL).

Anyway, I charged this person $27/hour, and I don’t know what it was, but I like the number, hahahaha!! Just rings a bell with me (it could be that my first every affiliate marketing ebook, which basically taught me most of my foundational knowledge, “The Rich Jerk” btw, cost $27, and it is that initial $27 spend that is responsible for getting to me where I am today).

And therefore, that is my charge, just $27, for us to have a chat for an hour or so, and then for me to go off and do some research for you, and then provide you with your first “parasite SEO” ideas and products for your reviews.

Okay, the next “money earning” method is a BEAUTY.

It will be about providing either services or doing “WordPress consultations”, but it’s so much easier than you think.

I have alluded to this once or twice in recent times, but basically, how would like access to 25,000 different WordPress Themes and plugins for just $39 per month (Plus, I have a 10% discount code).

And these are PREMIUM themes and plugins.

As an example, you can sell these plugins at discounted rates.

Let’s say, the plugin, WP Rocket, which costs $59 per year for ONE website.

For the $39/month you can place this on 10 different websites and charge each person $30 per year.

You can sell this as “I’ll give you 50% off”.

You’re in profit already from this ONE product and just TWO sales.

Don’t forget, there are 24,999 other themes and plugins within this package (Premium SEO plugins, Image compression plugins, WooCommerce, Divi, GeneratePress Premium, etc.)

So, you can either use about $1,000,000 worth of plugins and themes on your own sites, or use YouTube to thoroughly learn how each plugin works and then offer “services” on places like Fiverr and Upwork!

Example

$150 to increase the speed of your website.

You install WPRocket and a Premium image optimization plugin, takes you about 10 minutes to set up, job done, thanks for your payment, NEXT!!
