Hi everyone,
Months back, my website was declared clinically dead by Google and at the same time, my impressions were increasing on Bing. Since then, I started liking Bing more — but I admit I still use Google as my default search engine, although that's very likely to change soon.
Anyway, I just found out that Bing's auto-generated Meta descriptions are actually impressive. I'm assuming they use their Copilot to do it. Just thought I'd share this with you.
Here's an example from one of my articles. Compare it with Google's (screenshot in comments below)
Google's Auto-generated Meta Description for the article:
Wow! I totally agree. Bing is way ahead there.
I've switched to Edge and Bing as my defaults in my very own little protest at Google's nonsense. Just need to get rid of the Chromebook now.
Apparently now in the US, AI search is now also above anything else in Google? So google will scrape all content from websites for their AI, without actually linking to the content created by others. Sigh.
Oh I use bing for that very reason and their Ai Co-pilot.
