Hey everyone,

I'll be quick, just some things for you to read and watch to keep you up to date with what's going on in Google and the SEO World.

Firstly, this is something I briefly mentioned about a week ago, but I said then to take it with a pinch of salt, what Google says and what Google does are often not the same.

Plus, the word "quality" gets banded around a LOT, and I've always said that quality is subjective, e.g. what you think is quality I may think is a pile of trash, what I think is quality Google may think is a pile of trash, and what Google thinks is quality... we ALL think is a PILE OF TRASH!!! 🤣🤣🤣

So, with Google talking about HCU RECOVERIES at the next core update>>> hmm, I'm not sold on it (read the comments, always read the comments, for comedy value, if nothing else!! 😂😂😂)

Next, we have Barry Schwartz's interview with Google's Director of Product Management For Google Search, Elizabeth Tucker>>>

Elizabeth provides 13 SEO Takeaways

Then, we have a really in-depth guide to AI Generated Content>>>

And finally, this is a few months old, but I actually listened to the podcast this morning, but here's Authority Hacker's interview with Cyrus Shepard, who's a well-known and very talented SEO, who applied to become a Google quality rater.

He got the job, and now spills the beans of how Google evaluates your website and where you fail to impress them.

I think Google just wants to make sure that we update, and update posts, make our content more 'helpful' (deu), and then when the next update comes along and our traffic still doesn't come back, well, they can just gaslight us a bit more. Anyway, short: I don't believe anything will happen :-p
