Okay, in reality, I’m writing this in response to a question posed by Nat on my last forum post, which was about creating a topical map and keyword research.

Nat asked whether it makes sense to do this if you’ve been hit by a Helpful Content Update (HCU), as most people who have been hit will have a sitewide classifier on their website.

I other words, they have suffered an algorithmic penalty.

There’s two ways to look at this, but first, it’s best to look how the majority of us create our websites.

Something I’ve mentioned before, which I know that some people were slightly perturbed at because they had “never heard this before”.

However, I will say that if you’ve always followed one specific training program you’re going to fall into one camp of the other.

What I said was, there are those who will claim, “Content is King”, whereas others will claim, “Backlinks are King”.

Realistically, you could turn round and say that from around 2018-2022, Content was indeed King.

How many of you from that “era” simply did keyword research, wrote an article, and by the time you had about 100+ articles on your website you typically found that your newly published articles were indexing more-or-less immediately, and you were also ranking in the top 3 results pretty much every time?

NOT HAPPENING SO OFTEN NOW, IS IT?

Plus, when we look at the search results fro pretty much every single keyword going it is high authority sites that are ranking, so essentially, you could say that now, “Backlinks are King”.

In truth, something you are hopefully starting to learn about this business is, DIVERSIFICATION IS KING.

Basically, if you’re putting all your eggs into one basket, you may “get away” with it for a while, but it will eventually catch up to you.

This is why so many people (myself included) are talking about losing 90% of their website traffic because of HCUs.

Realistically, 90% of their traffic (myself included) was coming from ONE SOURCE, i.e. Google.

This is why I say that there are TWO WAYS to look at HCU recovery.

Firstly, we have the form of recovery that is, “Let’s do what we think that Google wants and hopefully I will eventually recover”.

This would involve going through your Google Search Console stats for the ONE MONTH BEFORE YOU GOT HIT BY HCU.

Then, identify ALL the articles that were either not indexed or that were indexed, but were getting hardly any traffic (less than 30 visitors per month).

You would then either look to improve those articles in line with Google’s helpful content guidelines or you would simply delete those articles.

The hope is that once you’ve made all these changes, Google would return your rankings and traffic and you would “recover”.

This is what most people have been attempting and even what I initially suggested you do.

I still stand by this, if an article wasn;t getting traffic or wasn’t indexed BEFORE you got “hit” by an HCU, Google has ALREADY identified these articles as “unhelpful”.

BUT

Even if you do all of the above you will NOT have diversified your traffic sources, you have simply tried to SATISFY ONE TRAFFIC SOURCE, Google.

So, even if you do recover, and you get ALL your traffic back, and even more traffic, you are STILL getting 90% of your traffic from ONE SOURCE.

In other words, you’re still not “safe” and you could lose all your traffic again during a later algorithm update.

The second way to look at recovery is to diversify your traffic sources.

Google states in their spam guidelines that you should “write for people not for search engines”.

However, every single article we write we perform KEYWORD RESEARCH.

Why?

To RANK IN THE SEARCH ENGINES.

So, we are ALL essentially breaking Google’s spam policies by “performing keyword research”, yet it is widely accepted that this is the only way to rank in Google.

Now, the things that will make a difference is if the MAJORITY OF YOUR TRAFFIC (to the articles) was NOT coming from Google.

So, in answer to Nat’s actual questions, YES, still create your topical authority map and yes still do keyword research to write articles.

HOWEVER

The aim is to get traffic to those articles without SOLELY relying in ranking in Google.

As an example, and you’re about to discover just how much work this business requires, for every article that I write I will want to promote that article.

So, I write an article, I then use the import tool to place it on Medium.

I then rewrite it slightly and place it on Linkedin AS AN ARTICLE.

I then share the article to Facebook and Twitter/X.

I then create a long-form video rom the content and put this on YouTube.

I then break down that video into 5 “shorts” and upload those to YouTube and TikTok.

I create 5 Pinterest pins around my article and upload and link back to that article.

Finally, I get some “user-generated content” onto that article by requesting comments.

I do the above with EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE I EVER WRITE.

The aim here is to have keyword optimized articles on my website (in the hope of ranking in Google), but I am also getting lots of “social signals”, plus with time and consistency I’m starting to get followers and views and outbound clicks from all my “social” stuff.

This trickle of traffic from a VARIETY OF SOURCES signals to Google that my articles and my website are “popular” with various users around the internet.

If this continues for good amount of time, Google may consider “recovering” my website in the SERPs because of all these “signals” my website is getting from various users around the internet.

Suddenly my traffic blows uo because all of that content is ranking in Google, BUT, in reality, if I’ve been doing the above for a while (5-8 months <---- remember everyone always talks about 3-6 months, THIS is the "new" version), then possibly only 30-50% of my traffic is coming from Google, the rest is coming from these other sources.

As weird as it sounds

YOU ARE LIKELY TO GET MORE GOOGLE TRAFFIC IF YOU ARE GETTING TRAFFIC FROM A VARIETY OF SOURCES

And this second form of “recovery” DOESN’T involve having to rewrite or delete my “unhelpful” content.

In fact, my “unhelpful” content may eventually be viewed (by Google) as “HELPFUL”, simply because I’m getting visitors (who are interacting, click links, watch video, scroll through article, time spent on article) to thise articles now.

Furthermore, all these incoming links are also increasing my authority, although these self-generated backlinks may not be as powerful, you can certainly get a website to a DA50 with JUST “self-generated foundational backlinks” (all the stuff I’ve mentioned above, and add to that adding your website to website directories, creating profile bios on high DA forums and UGC websites, and providing comments on RELEVANT niche-related websites).

So, “recovery” can either be, do what you THINK Google wants and hope they give you all your traffic back, BUT, realise that 90%+ of your traffic is STILL coming from only ONE SOURCE (so, if it happens again in a few years you’re back to where you started)

OR

Ignore Google and try to get traffic to your articles from other sources, and EVENTUALLY through doing this you are creating more backlinks, more social signals, and you’re sending people to your “unhelpful articles”, which eventually will make Google believe that they are actually “helpful”.

But, your website still needs articles for you to send vistors too, so it obviously makes sense to regularly update old articles every 6-12 months and to continue adding new articles too)

Look, if you want me to be honest, there needs to be one more type of “diversification”, and that is INCOME DIVERSIFICATION.

Two things that have come out from all these HCUs, Core, and Spam updates is:

Websites that have solely been created for affiliate marketing and/or ad revenue, and don’t have any type of authority, have been ANNIHILATED in the search engines over the last year (basically, what the vast majority have done here, me included with SOME websites, NOT ALL, and this is still what is mainly being taught, tut, tut).

There are even people who have had websites earning them money for 10, 12, 15 years, who have NEVER had any issues with Google previously, that have lost their traffic and income in either September 2023 or March 2024 or both.

Pretty much ALL of these websites didn’t diversify their INCOME.

Guess what types of “low authority” websites have done rally well over the last year? (haven't been "hit" and have actually improved in terms of rankings, traffic, and income)

Website that do affiliate marketing, website that do ad revenue income, BUT, they also have other forms of income diversification on their website.

These are mainly eCommerce (some people have just been adding fake ecommerce sections to their websites, have seen slight recoveries, BUT, they will eventually get hit again in the future, as it will be obvious to Google they have manipulated this… this could take a month, a few months, or they may even get away with it for years, but eventually they’ll get “hit” again) or websites that offer their own products, services, or courses.

(Honestly, if you just want to do affiliate marketing or ad revenue, the do parasite SEO on other platforms, because that ship has sailed for websites, the less your website looks like a real business, and the more obvious it is that your website is SOLELY for affiliate marketing and/or ad revenue, the less traction you're going to get in Google <----- you can keep your website as it is, say "sod Google", and diversify your traffic sources as above, while still adding content for your "external traffic sources visitors", PLUS, you must have an email newsletter, as this can eventually create your "own source of traffic")

In other words, these “low authority” websites that have done well over the last year LOOK LIKE REAL BUSINESSES.

They are NOT solely reliant on ONE traffic source and they are NOT solely reliant on ONE income stream.

And that is all I have to say about that.

Discuss…

Thank you for reading

P.s. I have not re-read this at all, for some reason Old Fluff thinks I make some of the best grammatical mistakes ever whenever I don't check over my work, lol (she's still giggling about my "sticks" and "thighs")

Hello Partha

Thank you so much. Great. Im actually doing all of those things.

I rewrite some very old articles which are very bad since when I started the website. I create pins, share on facebook, Medium and Linkedin and Flipboard. I also started YouTube. So let's see.

And you are right. It is a lot of work. When I had part time job, I wished to stop to have more time for blogging. Now I dont work and feel like blogging is taking most of my life.

But I'm dedicated to make it work 💪

Thank you 🙏

Nat

Great to get this raise up again posts, Partha!

I had a company in the meat world and this is exactly the same there. Very difficult to get "wide collections of customers" but very important to now trust on very few companies for 80% or more for your sale.

But one thing. I must admit that it has been difficult to delete posts on the side, traffic has fallen, etc. because of all the work and money I have put in it. Yes, I know, but!

I can copy/paste it into Word, but I decided to check if it is possible to keep it private, not for all.
As my traffic is gone after you know what, I can´t test it.

So I wanted to ask, do you believe it will be possible? I did it with a few, but I will probably do it with more.

I realized I found a gap in the market in one area, which could generate ad revenue through RSS.
Found it the hard way because I have myself been trying to get that infos.
However, it is incredibly difficult to get information about how to build a site with RSS in the main part of the website. However, it is a way to get more traffic.

Interesting stuff Partha, thank you. For me, the issue is time. If I could do this full time then no problem, I could action all the steps you outline. But with 2-3 hours a day available, at best, that's a big mountain to climb, especially when I am committed to other endeavours.

At the moment it's all about the parasite SEO for me. My informational articles on Medium are surviving the wrath of the mods it seems and that is sending traffic to my (dead HCU) website. I'm posting general news once a week on the site just to keep it active but other than that, I'm not really focussing my attention there.

Because I really have to make some money online, like yesterday and parasite SEO seems to be the way to do that, with the time I have available.

But thank you for sharing those steps - very useful to know for the future 😎

I have been starting to diversify a lot more. I have a few questions.

1. I have been starting to use Reddit a lot more, and I have been able to get a 125 karma so far. I remembered you saying I should get around a 500 or 1000 karma in total, right? Well, once I have that, what next?

2. Do you schedule out your Pinterest posts throughout the week, or all at once?

@jonathan Jonathan, Jonathan, Johnathan...

I've had to think for a long time before replying to this, mostly because I don't want to offend you, BUT, I know you take constructive criticism quite well.

Plus, when I get "angry" (not really) it comes from a place of PASSION (I WANT you to do well)

HOWEVER

There's so much for you to think about here.

Quick change of subject..

Honestly, I point blank refuse to do website reviews for free anymore (and for those of who've asked me to HERE at DMC and haven't received a reply, that is probably why - I don't see why you should pay SOMEONE ELSE $49 and $99 per month and expect me to provide BETTER HELP & FEEDBACK than the owners of that platform, btw, if you want to know what type of website feedback you'll get, go to your "leader's" profile page and READ... as far as I can tell, the answer to EVERYTHING is "Add Featured Images, Change your username from admin, and get comments on your posts" <--- anyone who honestly believes this is "great feedback" or that you will magically jump to number one on Google by doing this... I CAN'T HELP YOU)

Anyway, back to you Jonathan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 sorry I went off on a tangent there.

Honestly, Reddit is basically a forum and I HAVE TAUGHT YOU ALL how to do "forum marketing" over the last 4 years.

The way I was on the WA platform... THAT is how you do forum marketing.

You want to get to a stage where people are almost waiting to hear something from you, simply because they EXPECT value from you because that is what they are USED TO GETTING FROM YOU.

I've actually been through your Reddit account, I even note that you're constantly getting posts and comments deleted, in fact, you have ONE post with MORE "post karma" that you have in total now, this is because you are losing karma points by having stuff constantly deleted or people downvoting you.

WHY?

For me, it just doesn't feel authentic, you are NOT coming across as though you genuinely want to help people.

Sorry, it feels as though you're constantly trying to sell me something and I find that very off-putting... and it appears, Reddit feels the same way too.

As I say, "forum marketing" at its most basic is exactly how I acted on the WA platform over the last few years.

So, clearly, you need to have knowledge and experience in your niche, or at the very least, APPEAR as though you're experience and knowledgeable.

Once more, going back to my time at WA, I NEVER tried to sell anything, I simply provided answers to questions to the best of my knowledge, and I provided blog posts and tutorials that PEOPLE COULD ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING WITH (have a look at the blog posts there now, what can you actually do with ANY OF THAT INFORMATION, with the exception of Eric and Vitaliy, everything I have seen or read recently is simply about "how to be motivated" or "how fantastic the platform is" <----- this is NOT forum marketing, this is NOT being genuine, this is "attention-seeking for likes", SORRY if anyone hates me for that, but come on!!!)

Anyway, with most of your Reddit posts and comments I feel like you're constantly trying to sell me something, or something's "coming", e.g. "click the link and all your dreams will be answered" 🤣🤣🤣

"Social" marketing is simply about getting people to like, trust and believe in you, that takes time to build up.

Again, going back to my time at WA, guess what, I didn't really offer much advice for the first EIGHT MONTHS, but I still regularly answered questions and made the occasional post.

The other thing is if you don't have that trust from the people around you they're not going to read your content.

Again, and this may come across as arrogant, but for once I don't mean it to be 🤣🤣🤣, go to my old profile at WA, compare how many posts I've written over a four-year period compared to those who've probably been there under a year, also see how many likes and comments my WA posts got, again, compared to others...

That is simply due to the fact that people were EXPECTING me to come up with something USEFUL.

Next, most platforms DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO LEAVE THAT PLATFORM.

So, if ever you make a post that you want people to click through to a website article from, you need to give them some fanatstic information first.

I've noticed your recent post is simply ADVERTISING YOUR RECENT BLOG POST ON YOUR WEBSITE (again, NOT genuine, you're trying to SELL ME SOMETHING.. "Here's 3 sentences to tell you I've written a blog post, please click my link").

I'll tell you a fantastic example of a Reddit post that has produced 250,000+ website visitors, and most of you won't like it...

It's Nyall's negative Wealthy Affiliate Review.

Go to Google, type in

Wealthy Affiliate Review

and go to the top Reddit result, which is Nyall's.

Have a look at the length, the structure, and the information in that review ON REDDIT, and that is BEFORE he has linked to his FULL ARTICLE on his website.

Basically, he has given us 60-70% of everything, mostly summarized in about 2,000 words, and THEN he has linked to the "full article" (of course people are going to click through to his website, he has provided SO MUCH VALUE in that reddit post that you WANT TO KNOW MORE)

Plus, knowing Nyall, he's spent many, many, many years providing solid advice and great feedback on Reddit, i.e. people KNOW him and TRUST him.

Realistically, FOR YOU, I would advise that you get your "COMMENT" karma up first, simply by getting involved in lots of conversations, you can even go and find subreddits around your interests and do this (EVERYTHING you can think off has a subreddit, type in a video game you regularly play, I guarantee it either has its own subreddit or a massive subreddit with lots of related games)...

Once you've built your karma up, open your OWN SUBREDDIT, and add articles there.

I'll be honest, you won't get much interaction on your own subreddit without being well-known elsewhere on Reddit

BUT

We all know that Reddit is ranking really well for just about anything.

By creating your own subreddit you don't have to worry about your posts being deleted (unless you're breaking one of Reddit's major rules), and if the keyword research is decent, you'll rank.

Plus, even though links from Reddit posts and comments are "no follow" (if under around 100 upvotes, they seem to change to do follow in SOME niches with 100+ upvotes), Google LOVES & TRUSTS Reddit, so lots of backlinks from Reddit helps with branding and MAY eventually push a website articles higher up the SERPs.

Essentially, you can rank in Google from your own SUBREDDIT posts and the links to your website may eventually improve your Google rankings for your WEBSITE articles because GOOGLE LOVES REDDIT.

You then just continue adding GENUINE comments to OTHER subreddits that you like and then you can do your "selling" within your OWN SUBREDDIT.

So, essentially, you could spend all your time leaving COMMENTS on video game subreddits and then simply creating POSTS on your OWN SUBREDDIT.

You won't really get much traffic DIRECTLY from Reddit, but it's likely your "subreddit articles will rank in Google" and THAT is how you will get traffic to your website.

As I say, to do marketing INSIDE of Reddit you've got to give people more value than you ever have before WITHOUT appearing as though you want anything from them.

This is extremely difficult for most bloggers, especially those who simply started a blog to "make some money", but don't really have any PASSION around their chosen niche (without passion and knowledge in your niche, AVOID marketing inside of Reddit, just build Karma from commenting on  tuff you like, even TV shows that you like, they'll have their own subreddit, once you've been doing that for a few weeks, have some decent karma, open your own subreddit).

The other thing is, and this occurred to me BEFORE I read your "argument" with someone on Reddit.

Plus, this is the FIRST TIME I have seen your MMO website (I told you, I will NO LONGER do website reviews for FREE, and even at a 50% discount you'll still need to pay me 2-3 month's of WA membership fees... OR, you could go and ask for internal advice... here's the answer you'll get, "You're doing great, add some Featured images and get some comments" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 )

BUT

Your BRAND NAME

Is this a "HUBS" suggestion?

Did Kyle and Abie tell you it was a great brand name?

I'm really sorry, Jonathan, I have to agree with the Redditor you were "arguing with" over the name of your Reddit account.

I have ALWAYS said to anyone who is in the MMO niche, DO NOT have anything directly related to money or cash in your brand name, it stinks of "scam".

I'm sorry again Jonathan, but I still stick with my first ever opinion of you, I think you have huge potential, I'd put you in the "Yusuf" category, with some proper direction, you can be hugely successful, but I think your potential is being stiffled.

I know this may feel quite harsh, but I really want to shake you up and shout at you

COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

One final example, and this proves to me your potential is being stiffled, you've asked me two questions over the last 4-6 weeks via PM, which I've IGNORED!!!!

WHY??

I am not answering questions that you could put into Google, YouTube, or ChatGPT and get an anawer from.

COME ON, Jonathan, you're BETTER than that, I know you are, why pay Kyle $99 per month and then "offend me" (you didn't 🤣🤣🤣) by asking ME the msot basic of questions!!!

I will only answer questions when I KNOW (and trust me, I WILL know) you have made the EFFORT to research it for yourself first (I didn't like the additional comment to the second question, "I have heard it is bad" <----- THIS PROVES you are being influenced by people WHO DON'T KNOW and therefore your potential is being stiffled)

Sorry, Jonathan, I feel like you've got the brunt of my frustration 🤣🤣🤣🤣 which has been building up for a few weeks now...  but, honestly, I feel like I'm in a constant battle against people's "beliefs" (even though they don't really have any PROOF of these beliefs, e.g "The training WORKS!!! After spending $3,600 on membership over the last 6 years one BOT has clicked on ONE of my articles")

@partha This Kyle man, he ruined me! 🤣 🤣

I have been to much on WA, even though I haven't been online for quite some time, lol.

Yeah, regarding the name, I don't really want to do a redirection, or maybe I should, I don't know. Well, let me tell you a little story.

Once upon a time, there was a Jonathan who was new to this whole thing (1 year ago). Jonathan, was on WA, wanted to create this website, well what did he know. Using WA tools (jaxy) this is what I found lol.

Well, I know my brand name isn't too good (or at all, lol).

I just kinda kept it, I guess.

By the way, I think I haven't been thinking too much a month ago, lol.

Also, like you said, I do take the critic well, I do need to hear it, even if it means I have made another yet mistake.

I think you are right, I have been influenced by people who don't know (I realize that now when you point these things out) I mean Kyle pretty much did a Partha critic on the fact Google ranks high DA websites over low DA. Best feedback in the world, "get some comments, add featured images, all good to go!" 🤣

I should change the name, shouldn't I?

Also, thank you for pointing out every single thing I have done wrong. And, well I can count on you, you really just went and found my Reddit, and just looked at my comments. You are professional, creepy, but good. 🤣 (Jk)

@partha Also, I wanted to just have this confirmed, once I made a new article, and of course I want to promote it, and get that back link. So I should kinda give 60% of the article to bring up that value, then linking to it? Just wanted this to be clear for me.

@jonathan Hey Jonathan,

in all honesty, I WOULDN'T create any posts for a while if I was you.

In fact, I spoke about being "authentic and genuine" while doing forum marketing, and your first questions was to do with "60% of article and then link to website article".

Firstly, I only gave the percentage as a figure, but surely you know by now I HATE anything "figure-related" when it comes to this business.

This is actually also a sign of a "lack of authenticy and being genuine".

What I mean is, all this "2-3 articles a week" rubbish, or "5 pins a day", NONE of this takes your READERS & POTENTIAL AUDIENCE into consideration.

It almost feels like people are "playing a game" when it comes to stating specific numbers.

Plus, did you go an look at Nyall's Reddit post?

If not, then I'm NOT going to answer your question!!! 🤣🤣🤣 (I ALREADY know the answer to whether you looked at Nyall's review...)

I'm not asking you to read it for the reading of a "wealthy affiliate review", but rather to see how much DETAIL he has put into his REDDIT POST, and then click through on the link to his website to see how much MORE detail there is on his website post.

There are no "percentages" or "specific numbers", it's plain to see that Nyall just summarized the main points of his website article, but still wrote more words on REDDIT than many people do in their normal articles.

All I want you to do is study what he's done between his Reddit post and his website post.

Anyway, as I've said DON'T CREATE ANY MORE POSTS FOR NOW.

The reason, your Reddit account is currently NOT in good standing.

So, you need to work on improving that FIRST.

You've had so many posts and comments deleted, the moderators of various subreddits probably think you're a spammer, and sorry Jonathan, it IS coming across like that.

Look, the point I was trying to make when talking about WA, and this is the same for leaving comments on other people's websites.

I just DON'T get it - people are more than capable of acting like "normal human beings" on WA and here on the forum.

We all have "normal" conversations with each other, GENUINE conversations.

BUT

It appears that as soon as someone has to leave a comment somewhere else they completely change as a person and they turn into some type of lairy, selling and marketing machine... in other words, they lose their authenticity and no longer seem genuine.

Think about all the things we have read about WA website comments over the years, and the reason they're so terrible in general is because PEOPLE DON'T ACT LIKE NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS!!!

Why "act like yourself" on WA, why "act like yourself" here on the forum, but then as soon as you go to another platform where you don't CURRENTLY know anyone, e.g. Reddit, you suddenly become a completely different human being, e.g. a "selling machine".

ACT NORMALLY!!! Communicate the same way you would with me...

So, for now, AVOID CREATING POSTS, they will definitely have their eye on you and you're not far off a ban from Reddit.

I'm not going to talk to you about your brand name (and I'm sure anyone reading this is really curious now, hahahaha!!) BUT, here's "similar" brand names (I won't use yours), and watch how people react to it.

So, similar brand names would be something like:

MillionaireOvernightSuccess

LifeInsuranceSalesman

IWantToEarnCommissionFromYou

Okay, I'm being a bit over-the-top, but do you get what I mean?

Online marketing DOES involve human psychology and realistically brand names like above are going to put people on their guard, "Well, this sounds scammy, this dudes going to try to sell me something in a minute"...

This is typically how people react to certain brand names.

Furthermore, everytime I saw one of your posts on Reddit my immediate thought was, "He's got an ulterior motive by asking this question".

I KNOW YOU...

But, I guarantee, those who DON'T know you would have thought the same, they will all be thinking you've got an ulterior motive and you're going to sell them something.

That may well be the case, but the best salespeople are typically those who have the likeability factor, the worst salespeople are those who always seem as though they have an ulterior motive and they're constantly trying to sell you something, and they're not being genuine.

Simple sales advice - People buy from people they LIKE...

Think about your own experiences, how often have you gone into a shop to buy something and NOT bought anything because you DIDN'T LIKE the salesperson?

We ALL do it.

So, for now, and I know you LOVE numbers, so for now, add 100 comments on different conversations FIRST before you post anything else.

and BE GENUINE, find topics you enjoy and that you enjoy talking about (trust me, there is a subreddit for pretty much EVERYTHING).

Also, when you visit a subreddit, just underneath the name at the top of the page to the left-hand side there is a tiny dropdown menu, which usually defaults to "HOT", click on that and change it to "NEW".

This will give you the LATEST posts on that subreddit, which means you have a better opportunity of being one of the first commenters.

The first commenters typically get the MOST upvotes for their comments (if they're being genuine, a good person, and don;t appear to have an ulterior motive), so this will help to increase your karma.

Getting "comment karma" (in the 1000s if possible) is what stabilizes your Reddit account, you're viewed as a helpful and authentic person.

So, work on getting your COMMENT KARMA up first, just find conversations and get involved.

I want you to completely forget about articles, links, etc. for now, just pretend you're chatting with your friends on WA, be THAT SAME PERSON (not some weird selling machine).

Once you have completed a load of comments and your karma has increasesd THEN you can look at opening YOUR OWN SUBREDDIT.

You can make posts in OTHER subreddits, but I don't want you to for now, because your account will be being "looked at" as a potential spammer, as you've had so much content removed from reddit.

With your own subreddit, you then simply ask ChatGPT for "in-depth bullet point summaries" of your articles, then ask ChatGPT to include an introduction and a conclusion, and then you have a condensed but original article you can add to your OWN subreddit.

Start off doing one per day, and increase over time.

BUT, once more, DO NOT create posts yet, DO NOT create your own subreddit yet... WAIT until you have increased your comment Karma.

Realistically, I would even say DON'T do anything remotely "promotional" for the rest of the month, as your reddit account is probably very close to getting banned and the moderators of the various subreddits you have been on probably think you're a spammer.

So, just go and be a "normal person" and get involved in conversations on various subreddits.

Once you've got decent comment karma and people start viewing you as "helpful" and "not a spammer" THEN you can look at promotional content, but only on your OWN subreddit (you need to improve your communication and marketing skills to be making posts on other popular subreddits)

@partha Ah thank you Partha you know me so well, 100 comments on the way. 🤣

But I understand your point, this is something I don't like about WA within their training they say that you can go and promote your content with affiliate links and ads after like 25 articles.

Thank you for being completely honest, this just shows how little I know about Reddit, lol.

I will do like you said, just go around and comment being NORMAL for once.

I would change my name, but as far as I know, I can't. (on Reddit).
