Hi there!

I am happy to be here, and I've already seen several familiar faces!

Several years ago, I started a guitar website at Wealthy Affiliate to augment my passion for playing music. Although I've played in bands and taught guitar to help pay for school expenses, it's more of a hobby.

In college, way back in the 1970s, I started as a music major. However, I met someone playing a guitar in the student union who was getting his Ph.D. in chemistry, and (somehow, lol) he convinced me to change majors. So, over the years, I ended up earning degrees in chemistry, biomedical engineering, medicine, and healthcare informatics. Don't ask me how all that happened, but I have been very privileged to help many people over the years.

Here I am now, a semi-retired physician, working here and there, playing as much music as possible, and hoping to get my guitar website back up and running after losing a big chunk of traffic since the last Google Helpful Content Update.
