Hey everyone. It’s only been a year since I started w affiliate marketing but I need help getting out of the search engine sandbox. I know the weight loss niche is SUPER competitive so I’ve been brainstorming how to narrow it down but haven’t found “the one.”

Meanwhile, someone has told me that my keyword research needs improving. Even though I was choosing low volume keywords, the keywords themselves were apparently not ‘searchable’, meaning no one is going to type them in a search bar. 🤔

I got inspired after watching Partha’s WA post from 2020 - (Keyword Research Hack) Can I Keep it SHORT and Blow Your Mind? Would appreciate any advice.

Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve

How is everything going?

Google search results for websites that are ranking well in weight loss tend to have high domain authority.

I would approach the weight loss industry by trying to identify a profitable micro-niche that is not well-represented in the top search engine results and create content on social networks (especially on UGC platforms), make YouTube videos, and consider running paid ads if you have the budget.

AI can help you identify some of these micro-niches and write related content.

BTW: Today is George Benson's birthday! 😎

@frank Hi Frank

I’m concentrating more on the guitar site. Changed my old band’s IG to String Shock so it matches my blog, and I will be doing YT soon.

Im stubborn so I’m still trying to make the weight loss site work. Grok 3 is helping me narrow down the niche. Just haven’t come up with “the one” yet. Someone is willing to to help turn it into something profitable but they want $150 per week, so…..not sure yet.

How are you? Still rocking out on the guitar and enjoying your retirement?

Hi Steve

That sounds like a good approach! 👍

Careful with the paid consultant thing because you could go through a lot of money very quickly with a suboptimal ROI.

I'm doing great, playing and listening to lots of music. I've also been watching lots of movies and music concert videos. 😎

Keep on Rockin' It! 🤘
