Hello DMC,
Has anyone had success with doing a one-page website? I worked w a freelancer on this one and it came out great! We are using Carrd. The idea is to bypass search engines and use socials to promote, though I haven’t set up any socials yet.
I don’t discount what Google can do for it so I got it verified to set up in GSC. It’s been well over a month but the page is still not indexed. Anyone here have experience with these types of sites?
Steve
Hey Steve,
I bought a domain after following some of SEO Jesus' posts on one page websites for local sites. He has a course on it https://seojesus.com/one-page-websites-ebook/ (not an affiliate link)
My website is unfinished and you've reminded me that I must get that completed!
Not enough hours in the day!

Hey Steve!
Has Google found the website? If so, you can request indexing of that page in GSC. However, Google is very unlikely to rank that page on a one-page website, but you can use Google PPC. There's plenty of training on how to do that on WA.
How is everything going? Playing lots of guitar??
Now that I'm retired from clinical medicine I have been spending 8 to 10 hours a day in my music studio, about 4-to-6 hours in the early morning, and another 2-to-3 between between 11PM-to 2AM; plus all the times I pick up a guitar for 15 to 30 minutes in the living room and other parts of the house throughout the day. Hahaha
Between that, I'm having fun with my wife, family, and friends - eating, going out, watching movies, etc.
FYI: Today is Dweezil Zappa's birthday, so we're listening to his music and watching a music video tonight. A little "Zappa Soiree".😎
Keep On Rockin' It! 🤘

Hi Frank,
‘Yeah, Google hasn’t indexed it so it’s not found there but it’s available on Bing. I’m testing the waters and linking to it from an existing website to see if that helps.
After redesigning the guitar site, it seems Google is showing me a lil love. Impressions are going up but still not many clicks. Had an article rank on page 1 but still didn’t see an increase in traffic. 🤦♂️
I've been trying to play more guitar since staring the Youtube channel. Need to restring all of my guitars cause they've been sitting around for over a year. Lol
I’m happy to hear you're playing so much guitar and that you are enjoying your retirement. I'm working my way there….slowly.
Love Dweezil! I need to go watch the Zappa playing Zappa dvd I got years ago.

Hi Steve
The "existing website" will need to be in the same market domain and have significant DA (at least 60 or better) to pass any "Google Juice" to your new one-page site, but I still don't think Google will index and rank it. One-page sites are typically built for PPC ventures or social channels.
I also wanted to make you aware that music artists and record companies are getting stricter about using even a small part of their songs on video platforms, for which some of them are simply ignoring "fair use" of this material.
Here are two links to Rick Beato videos, who has over 5 million YouTube subs on his channel, which addresses the problems he is currently having:

So, if you are using tunes from other artists on your YouTube channel, be careful, or you could get banned.
I use the Ernie Ball "Power Peg" to do all my string winding, except for guitars that have locking tuners. Here is the link (not an affiliate link):

We had a great time at our birthday party for Dweezil, along with a small group of friends who are Zappa diehards. We saw both "Zappa Plays Zappa DVDs (part 1 and part 2). It was an excellent evening and that morning we had a "Pancake Breakfast" in honor of "Saint Alphonso." LOL 😆
Rock On! 🤘
