I would look and see if there are any bots that people have created that you could use, since it would be much easier (I probably should try it out here, haha).

I don't know/remember where it was - I think it may have been something that Partha was selling, when he was around.

Having said that, I personally would just use a new email address. If you own the forum, then no one is going to be able to see the email addresses that are connected with each member account (and if people can see that, then you should be able to remove that ability). I don't think that having an 'aged' email address is going to change anything. Google, or other people for that matter, aren't going to know the difference.

You can set up full fake forum threads with multiple fake participants using some very black hat software known as X rumer ... this thing is a beast though and not for the faint hearted!

I had a copy many years ago and it has been updated regularly ever since. It's so black hat that when I downloaded the .exe file to my HD my anti-virus flagged it as malware ... lol.

Probably overkill for what you want Lizzy but it just came to mind when I read this post 🙂

It will create fake convos across thousands of forums all on auto pilot, pretty much. The latest version uses AI to great effect I believe.

Yeah, I think this would be a bit over the top for what you want to do.

But as Andy says ... to do it manually, just use a new email address (easiest way is to add a forwarder via Cpanel) and if you want to be extra safe, use a VPN to switch your IP. Sometimes the IP address is posted with the comment on some forums. Not sure about yours.

I expect you could get GPT to write you a script that would automate the process.
