Okay, this is specifically aimed at the Group members of the Parasite SEO Course.
However, I thought it may be useful for everyone to see, so I have published this here.
I promised I would write Mairead an informational article that can either be linked to a product review, OR, as we’re doing Parasite SEO on high DA websites, you can simply add links to this informational post in applicable places.
Admittedly, you’re more likely to get sales from a product review, as people are searching for information about a specific product.
Therefore, with an informational article people want their query answered and have probably never even considered purchasing something to satisfy their “craving for answers”.
But, it is still another type of article you can write when doing Parasite SEO.
My suggestion would be to create 2 more similar articles to this, then have a product review for the main product, and then link everything together.
This way, on the informational articles you CAN add affiliate links, but it would be better to do something like:
“My personal recommendation would be XXXXX product. You can check out my full review of XXXX here (add link to product review), or if you want to get straight to it, you can check out XXXXXX directly (add affiliate link).”
Anyway, let’s get to it.
Keyword Research
The product that Mairead wanted to review is “His Secret Obsession”, which is aimed at women, mainly in relationships, but trying to get their partner to be more “into them” for want of a better phrase (Ladies, if you’re struggling with the same issue, here’s a free voucher for some “Partha Love”, you get a cuddle and a sarcastic comment!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!).
Then, I decided to do some Google Autosuggest keyword research.
I started with the phrase
Do Men
And then went through the alphabet on Google autosuggest
Do Men a
Do Men b
Do Men c
And so on.
I eventually got to P and decided to go with the “keyword” (article topic) of
Do Men Pull Away Because They Like You
I actually settled on this keyword simply because of the TOP “featured snippet” result.
Do you know what?
I’m not going to tell you why, I want you to all search the keyword
Do Men Pull Away Because They Like You
On Google, look at that FIRST featured snippet result and determine WHY I decided this was a good keyword.
Furthermore, Bonus Points to anyone who does a bit of investigation into the website (think “branding” and how you search for that online) and then tell me something VERY INTERESTING about their online branding.
If no-one works it out I will eventually tell you (I will be very surprised if ANYONE works it out, as it's NOT something you would usually look for, but you all know me, NOSEY!!! Hahahaha!!).
BUT
This is a bit of a humdinger!!!!
Is this the way to rank in Google in 2024 with a BRAND NEW WEBSITE (seems to currently work)?
So, get to investigating people, and tell me about what you find!! out
The ChatGPT Prompts
Okay, to keep this short and sweet, I will just include my ChatGPT prompts.
Now, for anyone outside of the Parasite SEO course who thinks that this is a bit underhand, here’s a newsflash for you:
If you’re writing articles (regardless of whether you put your “own spin” on it) using AI, where do you think AI is sourcing that information from?
So, if you believe this way of creating articles is “underhand” and you ALSO USE AI to write articles, then YOU TOO are using underhand tactics.
LIVE WITH IT!!!! Hahahahahhahahahahhahahaha!!
Anyway, here’s the EXACT prompts (prompts are in bold and italics and are larger text, my comments for YOU are in-between the prompts):
please provide me with a bullet-point summary of this article - https://www.goddessvibes.co.uk/post/do-men-become-distant-when-they-are-falling-in-love-with-you
ChatGPT then gave me a bullet-point summary of the article and it was really good.
Thank you, I wish to write an in-depth article that focuses on [Do men pull away because they like you?] Based on the information above, please can you write this article. Please ensure that the article is interesting and engaging, but please do NOT use exaggerated or superflous language, do NOT be over-the-top in your writing, simply keep it factual, interesting, and engaging. Do you understand?
It was actually quite good, yaaaay!!! LOL!!
Thank you. I would also like to incorporate the following answer from a Reddit user, which focuses more on negative aspects of the relationship, as to why men pull away [ I have taken step back when she’s leaving me confused; when she is suffocating me, when her words don’t match her actions, when she lies to me, when she doesn’t have the same standards as me (personal hygiene, career views and lifestyle), when I just have a gut feeling something is not right, when it feels like she’s using me, when she’s obviously gaslighting me, when she’s not nice to people, when she gets upset when I have said ‘no’ to her or cant take criticism from anyone. And no I have never regretted it. The only thing I have regretted is not doing it earlier] So, I would like the article to include the information you have provided, then include in-depth details about the potential negative aspects of pulling away. Do you understand?
Something tells me this guy in Reddit scares women to death, hahahahahahaha!! Probably why he’s having so much trouble, anyway, I wanted to use some “user-generated content”n for this prompt as no-one else ranking on page one has covered this, i.e. making my article more “in-depth” than others.
Thank you. Now instead of a conclusion, I would like to end the article with a heading similar to "What Should You Do in This Situation?" I would like this part of the article to focus on "triggering a man's hero instinct" and then recommending the "his Secret obsession" product - https://hissecretobsession.com/love/obsession/ Do you understand?
ChatGPT wrote me a “standard” article with a conclusion. So, I asked it to remove the conclusion and add a few paragraphs about the MAIN CONCEPT of the product and then create CALL TO ACTIONS for the product (His Secret Obsession), this allows me add affilaiet links or link to the FULL product review.
And here is the finished article published on our private Parasite SEO subreddit>>>
Those in the Parasite SEO Group should be aware that we are NOT adding any links for ONE WEEK and will then edit the articles to add links after 7 days.
And, of course, I will add Mairead’s affiliate link to this “article” in a week’s time.
And that’s me done.
Thank You For Reading
Partha
I'm gonna better-late-than-never try to answer your questions.
Q1. "On Google, look at that FIRST featured snippet result and determine WHY I decided this was a good keyword."
Why? I'm guessing because the DA of the featured snippet (2023) is 2 (per KE) and maybe also because the same site has rewritten this article (2024) and that is also ranking. AND there's a lot of forums near the top of search too. (Though the search volume is 0?)
Q2. "Furthermore, Bonus Points to anyone who does a bit of investigation into the website (think “branding” and how you search for that online) and then tell me something VERY INTERESTING about their online branding."
You are right, I probably won't get this. But here's what I noticed.
- They brand themselves as for "goddesses" though clearly their content revolves around women who define themselves through their relationships ... seemingly unhappy relationships. But that's smart because who wouldn't rather see themselves as a goddess rather than a bit sad and desperate? And then too "desperate" is good ... as we have learned.
- The website links to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. I checked out YouTube. The YouTube site has the same brand "Goddess Vibes." The videos are faceless ... and awful. But they all point back to the Goddess Vibes website. The YouTube channel has 440 subscribers and 23,119 views. But the same is true for other sites with higher DA that rank below Goddess Vibes for this keyword.
- They are selling a service - coaching. Maybe this is it? Cause they seem to have been at this for a while since around 2017/2018 ... maybe they added a service to get more traction?
That's my best shot. Participation points anyway
Thanks Partha
Only getting to read this now.
The reason that you targetted the keyword is the site has only a DA 2 as feature snippet
then Reddit
then Quora
next are 3 videos
Then back to the same website goddessvibes.co.uk with a DA of 2
"Furthermore, Bonus Points to anyone who does a bit of investigation into the website (think “branding” and how you search for that online) and then tell me something VERY INTERESTING about their online branding."
When I searched Google "goddessvibes" there seemed to be other goddess vibes social media pages that have nothing to do with this website.
The big issue I see is that the Facebook and Instagram accounts linked to this website don't use the same brand style of writing for their name as on the website which I would imagine is important for your brand.
The other bigger issue I see is that their Instagram account is instagram.com/goddessvibess and Facebook is facebook.com/goddessvibess
Both of these have an extra S stuck on to both
Not sure if this is right but this is what i reckon is the issue
Thanks
Mairead
