I had a problem at WA with a plug in for aweber and it took them 24 hours to fix it. Their first solution was upgrading to their new servers. I sent them a screenshot where they told me they had already upgraded my servers 🤦🏻♂️
Quick question about WPX. Do they have plenty of themes to choose from or do you have to pay extra?

Yes - just checked and I have over 7000 themes to choose from (7001 to be exact, lol) - I don't know how WA advertises their hosting, but anywhere you host a Wordpress site, you are going to have FREE access to any and all FREE themes and plugins. So if WA does this (and I'm not certain they do this), if they say that you get access to 'over 1000s of themes and plugins", well, you get access to all those anywhere. It's just one of those fake marketing tactics to make it look like their hosting is better than others...
But to answer your question again, yes, you have access to a bunch of themes that you can use/test.
Hi Rudy,
I'm also going to move from WA in November, so I will not renew it. My site is down almost every day around lunchtime. Disaster. I have only one website and was looking for a cheaper but good option.
In one community of bloggers that I'm, they recommend A2 hosting. Now, they have a promotion if you pay for 3 years in advance.
Check them out if you like.
@andy - I'm setting up a migration with WPX, and I'm not sure which to select for the migration process itself. What can you tell me?
I've always chosen the "move with a Plugin" option to migrate, and then in the additional notes I add the FTP access, since often times moving it with a plugin doesn't work (and if you select the FTP access section then they also ask for PHPMYADMIN access which WA doesn't give out).
But if WA provided you with a download link, then you should be able to tell them in the 'additional notes' section and/or just jump on to chat with support and they can amend it for you, or clarify what they'll need. It sounds like you've might have figured it out already though.
Andy- Yeah, WA provided the backup download links, when selecting the type of migration, there is a drop-down menu to select backup/downloads.
